We Signed the Charter for the Decarbonisation of the Footwear Value Chain

In December, Aloft took another firm step towards a more sustainable future by signing the Charter of Principles for the Decarbonisation of the Footwear Value Chain, an initiative promoted by CTCP – the Footwear Technology Centre of Portugal.

This decision reflects a strategic and responsible stance, reinforcing Aloft’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint across the entire value chain. The challenge is clear: to lower environmental impact without compromising quality, competitiveness, or innovation — values that are central to the company’s identity.

By adhering to this charter, Aloft makes a concrete commitment to cleaner and more efficient industrial practices, fully aligned with European climate objectives, while actively contributing to the sustainable transformation of the footwear sector.

More than an environmental obligation, sustainability is increasingly seen as a driver of innovation, differentiation, and long-term growth. This commitment demonstrates that design, technical performance, and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand, inspiring partners, clients, and the wider industrial ecosystem.

The future is shaped by conscious decisions. And for Aloft, that future starts now.
