Living Impact

Our impact is not only measured in pairs sold, but in steps taken with awareness.

Building a Future with Lighter Footprints

At Aloft, we believe that true impact isn't just measured in numbers, but in the way we touch the community, the planet and the future.

Our commitment to sustainability is more than a strategy - it's a living mission that grows with every step we take.

Energy that Inspires

Since the end of 2020, we have adhered to EDP's green tariff, ensuring that all the energy we consume comes from 100% renewable sources. This decision marked the beginning of an energy transformation at our factory in Vila do Conde.

In 2021, we took another step: we installed solar panels on a large part of our facilities. During the summer months, up to 25 per cent of the energy we use is generated directly by the sun - a clean, abundant and, above all, inspiring source.

Mobility with Conscience

Our mobility also reflects this vision.

We have acquired hybrid vehicles and installed charging stations, promoting a cleaner, more efficient corporate culture that is in line with today's environmental demands.

Investing in Tomorrow

We are always looking to the future.

We are currently studying the feasibility of expanding the installation of solar panels to other areas of the factory, including adjacent land. This project involves a significant investment and has an IRR of 8.4 per cent - a viable opportunity, but one that requires greater state support to accelerate the ecological transition in Portuguese companies.

Educating for Change

We know that the circular economy requires more than technology. It requires culture, education and courage. It is essential to sensitise customers and partners to accept that products made from waste may show slight changes in appearance - and that this is a symbol of responsibility, not a defect.

It is our duty to explain that these variations are the reflection of a conscious choice: putting the planet before visual perfection.

Technical Innovation with a Green Soul

Our technical team is ready for this challenge. The knowledge we have accumulated allows us to guarantee that, even with recycled materials, the properties and performance of our soles and wellies remain at the highest level.

This process requires new procedures, rigorous sorting and constant optimisation of the production chain. We have been sorting waste by type, specification and colour for some time now - a practice that reflects our rigour and commitment.

We want to leave a positive, visible and lasting mark on the world. A living impact, shaped by conscious choices and a vision that puts the planet at the centre of everything we do.
2030 Agenda

We are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN's 2030 Agenda, based on the 5 principles: People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace and Partnerships.
